I'm Ethyn Malin, and I suck at running a business. So instead of getting better at it, I built something that runs mine for me.

The honest version.

The job wasn't complicated: make one short video a day and post it to TikTok. I kept skipping it. On the days I did, the videos looked thrown together, nothing like they came from a real business.

So instead of forcing myself to be disciplined, I did what came naturally and automated the part I didn't want to do. I built something that takes my clips, edits them into short videos that look decent, and lines them up to post. My whole job shrank to saying yes.

Once that worked, I kept going. The inbox I kept ignoring. Posting everywhere, not just TikTok. Every chore I couldn't stand turned into a job for an agent, and that pile of agents became Acrium.

Since summer 2026, Acrium has run my own software business. It handles about 20 emails a day, replies and outreach, and three posts a day on every platform I use. I haven't done a business task by hand since. I just keep building the product.

    Anything that can start or raise ad spend waits for your approval in the dashboard, whichever AI asked. Pausing never waits. The Approval Gate can hold posts, store changes and emails too, until you trust it.

    I don't add features to fill a list. If it doesn't take real work off someone's plate, it doesn't go in. I'd rather it stay lazy and useful.
