How to connect Claude to TikTok

Short answer: You need a TikTok account, a finished video, an Acrium account (free for 14 days, no card) and Claude on any plan, including free. About five minutes. Add Acrium as a custom connector in Claude, sign in, connect TikTok, then ask.

Step by step

Four steps, about five minutes.

  1. Add Acrium to Claude

    In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Acrium, paste https://acriumautomated.com/mcp as the URL, click Continue, then Add. In a chat, switch Acrium on under + > Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it once under Organization settings > Connectors, then you click Connect. The Claude setup guide shows each click.

  2. Sign in to Acrium

    Claude opens an Acrium sign-in. New here? Make an account in the same window: your first workspace gets Connect free for 14 days, no card. Then pick the workspace it may use and the permissions it gets. It never does more than you could.

  3. Connect TikTok in Acrium

    In the Acrium dashboard, sign in to TikTok. Upload your finished videos to the media library, or let Claude import one from a link.

  4. Try a first prompt

    Start with something small you can check. A few below.

What Claude can do in TikTok

  • Post and schedule: videos from your Acrium media library, now or later.
  • Read results: views, likes, comments and shares, where TikTok reports them.
  • Same chat, other platforms: Instagram, YouTube, X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn.

What it can't do, or won't without you

  • Every TikTok post needs a person's approval in the Acrium dashboard before it goes out. That's always on.
  • It can't reply to TikTok comments. TikTok's API doesn't allow it.
  • It doesn't run TikTok ads.
  • Acrium doesn't make or edit videos. Upload a finished one, or have Claude edit it in its own environment first.

Which Claude plans work

  • Free: works. Anthropic allows one custom connector on the free plan, and Acrium only needs one. If you already use your one slot for something else, you'd have to swap.
  • Pro, Max: works. You add the connector yourself.
  • Team, Enterprise: works, but an owner (or, on Enterprise, someone with the right admin role) has to add the connector for the organization first. Each person then signs in on their own.

Why does every TikTok post need my approval?

Acrium always holds TikTok posts for a person to approve in the dashboard. You can't switch that off. Approve it and it goes out as scheduled.

Can Claude reply to TikTok comments?

No. TikTok's API doesn't allow comment replies. Claude can read how a post did, but replies have to happen in the TikTok app.

Can Claude make the video?

Acrium doesn't make or edit videos. Upload a finished one to the media library, or have Claude edit it in its own environment and upload it.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

No. Anthropic allows one custom connector on Claude's free plan, and Acrium only needs one. Pro and Max work too. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the organization, then each person signs in.
